"Anyone in VO should jump at the learning opportunity Erik consistently delivers with his expertise.”

"This is my full-time job. It's totally awesome! I could not have gotten to where I am today as a VO actor without Erik Sanchez and his essential guidance."

One-on-One Voiceover Coaching
Acting is tough. The business of voice over is challenging and at times a solitary pursuit. Today, most voice over auditions are completed at home. Directing yourself and navigating ad copy is not an innate skill. Competing professionally without coaching is an unnecessary hardship.
My goal is to optimize the time it takes you to reach a competitive level. My goal is to cultivate the curiosity voice over demands to ask more meaningful questions...make bolder choices. I've always asked my clients to find the truth, take risks and share their soul in every performance. With my guidance, I'm confident I can help you achieve your goals.
I have the deepest respect for all of my clients. Learning a new skill requires dedication, resilience, patience and most of all, courage. Qualities I personally aspire to.
Take the leap, enjoy the process and learn something new!

"Be like a bolt of lightning bringing life to the words and ideas in front of you."

"Learn to break down copy & look for opportunities to engage your
audience."

"Let the words in the script filter through your personality and
experiences."

"My coaching philosophy celebrates diversity and the the unique strengths of each learner. Yes, this is a highly competitive field but trying to mimic what you think a voice actor should sound like, will only diminish your true sound and slow your development. So, please be yourself and by all means, enjoy yourself."

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule my appointment?
Upon purchasing coaching, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment. I generally schedule appointments during office hours M - F (EST). I have made exceptions depending on circumstances.

How long are your coaching sessions?
Each coaching session is an hour long and provided through a mutually agreed upon platform. (Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc...)

What kind of equipment do you require for coaching?
All you need is a PC and a desire to learn...oh, and a quiet space.

Will you provide the commercial scripts for our session?
Yes. After I determine what you hope to get out of our coaching session/s, I will send you a custom collection of scripts.

How many coaching sessions will I need before I feel confident with my performances?
I've compared learning VO performance to learning a new language. Everyone will master the information at a different pace. As a coach, it is my responsibility to brief you on your progress.

Can I purchase coaching more than once?
Absolutely! If you want additional sessions or I recommend more, you can simply purchase the coaching again.

Will you help me create and produce a Voice Over demo?
For an additional cost, I can help write or collect commercial scripts, direct and produce a final commercial demo for you. Please have a listen to some of my past student demos.

Will you help me find an agent or secure auditions?
No. However, as a casting director, I'm always in search of new talent. I regularly have current and past students audition for some of my projects. It's also part of my instruction to advise and offer information that may help you gain a better understanding of the business and how to find representation.

Can I purchase a coaching session to prepare for an upcoming audition?
Absolutely! I'm often hired to prepare clients for upcoming commercial auditions. It won't take an hour to prepare for your audition but we can fill the time with additional coaching.
